Four people were injured today when a two-story house collapsed in central Turkey in an explosion possibly caused by a gas leak, CNN-Turk Turkish television reported.

The incident took place near the city of Yerkoy (Yozgat district).

The four buried by the debris are members of the same family.

They were all taken to hospitals.

Teams of the governmental Directorate for Disaster and Emergency Management (AFAD) managed to rescue the four.

The mayor of Yozgat, Zia Polat, said that the explosion in the house was probably caused by a natural gas leak.
