A naked body of a 17-year-old girl was found in a millet field on Monday morning in a village under Dibiyapur police station area in Auraiya district of Uttar Pradesh.

The relatives of the teenager have alleged murder after rape.

Meanwhile, the Congress accused the police of running away with the body in a hurry.

Although the Superintendent of Police has denied this.

According to family members, the 17-year-old girl had gone to the fields for defecation in the morning and when she did not return home even after a long time, her search was started and her body was found in the millet field.

The SP Corporation said that 10 teams of police have been deployed along with SOG and surveillance team to investigate the incident and the police station team is engaged separately.

He said that the post-mortem of the deceased will be done with videography.

According to him, on the basis of investigation and the complaint of the victim's family, further action will be taken after registering a case.

Tension has spread in the area regarding this matter.

In view of the tension in the area, several officials including Inspector General of Police (Kanpur Zone) Prashant Kumar, District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police inspected the spot.

Evidence was collected from the team of dog squad.

According to the police, after meeting the relatives and consoling them, the assurance of strict action against the accused was also given by the administrative officers.
