Ukrainian journalist Denys Kazansky showed how the city of Bakhmut in Donetsk region lives, which is almost a front line.

He published a video from Bakhmut in Telegram.

"There are always gaps here, something is flying in all the time, everything is broken. Almost all the houses are damaged, it is very dangerous to be here," the journalist said.

According to him, in a city on the outskirts of which fighting continues, people continue to live in some amazing way.

"How it is possible to live here is completely incomprehensible to me. The streets are practically empty, but there are people," says Kazansky.

According to the journalist's rough estimates, about 10% of the residents remained in Bakhmut.

"Bakhmut is a pity. Unlike most other cities of Donbass, which are just appendages to factories and mines, this is a truly full-fledged city with its own history, special atmosphere and even a small historical center. It is currently being mercilessly destroyed by the Russian army, which wants to set up another Mariupol," he concluded.

It will be recalled that the General Staff of the Armed Forces reported that the enemy is conducting offensive operations in the Bakhmut and Avdiiv directions.
