President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva participated in the groundbreaking ceremony of Khidirli village of Aghdam region on October 4.


APA informs that the special representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Emin Huseynov informed the head of state and the first lady about the work to be done in the villages freed from occupation included in the Karabakh economic region (except Shusha region).


Then a video about the construction and development plan of the village was shown.


It was reported that 5,990 people (1,500 families) were planned to settle in Khidirli village, located 3 kilometers from the center of Agdam city.

The total projected area is 418 hectares.

Taking into account the living burden of the people who will live here, 160 hectares of land has been allocated for the first stage of the construction of neighborhoods.

In the first stage, it is planned to build 719 private houses for the relocation of 2951 people to the village.


It was emphasized that all conditions will be created to ensure the employment of the population in the village.

A total of 2,595 people are planned to be employed here in cultural and entertainment centers, religious, service, commercial enterprises, economic development facilities, education, management and agriculture.


It was noted that the construction works in Khidirli will start on October 10 this year.

Construction works in the village are expected to be completed on April 10, 2024.
