US President Joe Biden spoke with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyi and announced new military aid to Ukraine in the amount of 625 million dollars.

Russia reacted and called it a

"dangerous borderline to a direct military confrontation between the Russian Federation and NATO."

Such a statement was announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Russian propaganda media write.

"The US supply of weapons to Ukraine is bringing the Russian Federation and NATO closer to the dangerous limit of a direct military confrontation," rossMI quoted the statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry as saying.

It will be recalled that on October 4, US President Joe Biden spoke with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyi.

Following the conversation, the American leader announced the allocation of new military aid in the amount of 625 million dollars, which includes additional weapons and equipment, including HIMARS, artillery systems and ammunition, and armored personnel carriers.

Before that, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the USA, Oksana Markarova, reported that Ukraine was discussing with the USA the supply of missiles with a longer range than HIMARS.
