Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party (SP) patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav was taken to the ICU of Medanta Hospital in Gurugram after his health deteriorated on Sunday.

Sources have given this information.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh spoke to SP President Akhilesh Yadav and inquired about Mulayam Singh's health. Sources said that Modi assured Yadav that he was ready to provide all possible help and assistance. Huh.

Rajnath Singh tweeted, “On getting information about the unwell former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Mulayam Singh Yadav ji, I have spoken to his son Akhilesh Yadav ji on the phone to know his well being.

It is a prayer to God that he gets well soon." According to the news received from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also talked to former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on the phone and asked Mulayam Singh Yadav's well being.

He wished him a speedy recovery.

According to an official statement issued late on Sunday night, the Chief Minister spoke to senior doctors of Medanta Hospital and asked them to provide excellent treatment to Mulayam Singh Yadav.

SP's Uttar Pradesh unit spokesperson Rajendra Chaudhary said that Singh's family members are reaching Gurugram.

Singh's brother Shivpal Singh Yadav is already present there, while party president and Mulayam's son Akhilesh Yadav has left for Delhi from Lucknow.

Hospital sources said that Singh, 82, is being treated under the supervision of oncologists Dr. Nitin Sood and Dr. Sushil Kataria.

Singh is being treated at the hospital since August 22.

He was also admitted to the hospital in July.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi tweeted, "Received the news of Mulayam Singh ji's ill health. I wish him a speedy recovery."

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra tweeted, "We are all concerned to hear about the deteriorating health of Mulayam Singh Yadav ji and wish him a speedy recovery." Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) President Jayant Singh tweeted. "Wishing Mulayam Singh ji a speedy recovery."
