During the current year, at the meetings of relevant regional organizations (Regional Communications Union (RCC), European Conference of Telecommunications and Postal Administrations (CEPT), Telecommunications Union for the Asia and Pacific region (APT), American Regional Telecommunications Commission (CITEL), African Telecommunications Union (ATU) )) was regularly attended and the election campaign of our country was conducted.

Also actively participated in the World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly of ITU, Council meetings, World Summit on Information Society, World Development Conference.

Along with the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs played an important role in our country achieving high results at this conference.

The election of Azerbaijan as a member of this prestigious international organization for the next time and receiving votes from more countries once again demonstrates the further increase of our country's reputation in the international world, and also creates the basis for the continuous and successful large-scale work carried out by our republic in the field of telecommunications.

As a member of the Council, our country's direct participation in the management of the organization is of special importance in terms of ensuring the country's interests, as well as support for field activities.

Also, the representation of our country in both institutions of the ITU is of particular importance in terms of preventing illegal radio-TV broadcasting and use of frequencies in the territories freed from occupation of Azerbaijan and keeping the topic regularly on the agenda of the ITU.
