Guardsman Jack Burnell-Williams, who attended Queen Elizabeth's funeral, has been found dead in a barracks in Hyde Park.

The Daily Mail writes about it.

The publication writes that the 18-year-old soldier played a key role in the procession as Her Majesty's coffin was carried from Westminster Abbey through Buckingham Palace to Wellington Arch.

The police did not find anything supernatural in the guard's death and called it "unexpected".

Doctors wanted to bring the boy back to life, but the attempts were unsuccessful.

Journalists note that his 42-year-old mother Laura reacted very emotionally to the news of her son's death.

"I never thought I'd say this, but our entire family is devastated by the sudden death of our wonderful son, Jack Williams," the woman said.

It will be recalled that the night before the funeral of Elizabeth II, her friend and maid of honor, 88-year-old Lady Mary Russell, died.

She was one of six women who carried the Queen's train in 1953 when she was crowned.

The day before, the National Archives of Scotland published
