New Delhi:

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi addressed thousands of people during his Bharat Jodo Yatra on Sunday amid heavy rains in Mysore, Karnataka.

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh tweeted that despite torrential rains in Mysore on the evening of Gandhi Jayanti, Rahul Gandhi addressed a huge crowd.

It makes it clear that no force can stop Bharat Jodo Yatra from uniting India against hatred, speaking out against unemployment and inflation.

On the evening of Gandhi Jayanthi undeterred by a downpour in Mysuru, @RahulGandhi electrified a sea of people.

It was an unequivocal declaration.

No force can stop the #BharatJodoYatra from uniting India against hate, from speaking up against unemployment and price rise.

While addressing the people, Rahul Gandhi said that the goal of Bharat Jodo Yatra is to stand against the hatred being spread in India by BJP and RSS.

This journey will run from Kanyakumari to Kashmir and will not stop at any cost, as today even this rain could not stop us.

He said that this river-like journey will go from Kanyakumari to Kashmir.

This journey is not going to stop due to heat, storm, rain or cold.

In this river you will not see hatred or violence, only love and brotherhood will be seen.

You know what the BJP government is doing in Karnataka!

BJP and your CM have broken all records of corruption, they take 40% commission on everything.

The Congress leader said that the Contractor Association wrote a letter to the Prime Minister and informed about taking 40% commission by the government, but the Prime Minister did nothing.

In Karnataka, 13,000 school associations have said that they too have to pay 40% commission to the government, but neither the Prime Minister nor the Chief Minister said anything about this.

The Congress leader said that demonetisation and GST have broken the backbone of small traders.

The selected 2-3 industrialists are getting the full benefit of the whole.

Rahul Gandhi said that unemployment on one side and inflation on the other side, poor people of Karnataka and India are getting crushed in the middle, so we have started Bharat Jodo Yatra.

Whatever hatred or violence BJP indulges in, we will unite India.
