Lloyd Austin praised the Ukrainian defenders for the successful use of HIMARS MLRS, which destroy Russian headquarters and ammunition depots.

The head of the Pentagon emphasized that now the dynamics on the battlefield are changing. 

"The Ukrainian military worked very well in the Kharkiv area and moved to take advantage of new opportunities. The fighting in the Kherson region is going a little slower, but they are making progress," the Pentagon chief noted.

According to Lloyd Austin, the skillful use of HIMARS MLRS deprives the Russians of significant opportunities at the front.

"It's not just about the equipment that you have. It's about how you use that equipment, how you synchronize everything together to create an effect on the battlefield that can then open up new opportunities," - the head of the Pentagon. 

It will be recalled that the NATO Secretary General commented on Lyman's release and praised the Armed Forces.
