NExT Exam Date: The date for conducting the XT exam has been extended till 2024.

NExT Exam Date:

NEET PG, MBBS Final Year and FMGE exams will be conducted as before, the Common Next Exam (NExT Exam) to be held in their place will not be conducted in 2023.

The date for conducting the NEXT exam has been extended till 2024.

The Central Government has implemented the provisions of the NMC Act, under which the National Exit Test (NExT) is to be conducted for MBBS final year students.

However, no official statement has been issued regarding the dates yet.

Know what is said in the notification?

It has been said in the notification that even after a lapse of almost two years, rules have not been made in this matter yet and the formation of the examination cell is also under process.

"Therefore, now in exercise of the powers conferred by Section-59 of the National Medical Commission Act-2019, the Central Government hereby makes this order to remove the said difficulties."

This order may be called the First (Redressal of Difficulties) Order, 2022 of the National Medical Commission and shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

"In sub-section (3) of section 15 of the Act, for 'three years', the word 'four years' shall be substituted," the notification said.
