Kanpur: Speeding truck hit the vehicle, 5 killed, 10 injured (symbolic photo)

Kanpur:

Two major accidents took place in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh last night, in which a total of 31 people died.

In the first accident, a tractor-trolley full of devotees fell into the pond, in which 26 people died.

In the second accident, a vehicle parked on the side of the road was hit by a speeding truck, in which five people died and ten people were injured.

According to the information received by the police, today on 02.10.2022 at around 03.00 am, the family and others were going from loader to Vindhyachal for shaving on the Ahirwan flyover, due to the bad loader on the highway, the car loader parked on the side. The tire was being changed when suddenly a truck at high speed hit the loader (little elephant).

In this accident 05 people died and 10 people got injured.

The injured were immediately taken to the hospital by the local police, and the dead were sent to the mortuary house.

Local police and high officials are present on the spot.

Other action is being taken. Police Commissioner BP Jogdand, Joint Commissioner of Police Shri Anand Prakash Tiwari and other officers immediately reached the spot and all necessary actions were taken.

The names of the dead and injured have been released by the police.
