Bulgarians in Bosnia and Herzegovina are voting today in the early elections for the National Assembly in the electoral section in the Bulgarian embassy in Sarajevo, BTA reported.

Voting goes smoothly.

In contrast to the previous elections, when about 30 people submitted applications to vote, now they are already close to 100. These are mostly military personnel who participate in the EU operation in Bosnia and Herzegovina "Altea" and there are a little over 100 people.

During the previous elections, the Bulgarian military contingent in the mission was smaller.

Bulgarian citizens abroad can exercise their right to vote in 62 countries in 755 sections.

Machine voting is planned in 300 sections - in 238 with 2 machines each, and in 62 sections with 1 machine each.

A total of 538 machines were transported, which is 122 more than in the November 2021 elections.

755 sets of election papers with over 600,000 ballots were sent abroad.
