"A centenarian from the Kubrat village of Terter voted for a better future. The 100-year-old grandmother Radka Deleva went to the ballot box accompanied by relatives," announced the deputy mayor Nikolay Ivanov, BTA reported

In a telephone conversation, grandmother Radka said that she does not miss the right to exercise her vote.

"I am voting for the betterment of the country, for more jobs and work for young people to stay here in Bulgaria," said the centenarian.

She urged young people to also go to the polls because their votes are very important.

"For her age, grandmother Radka is in very good health," said Terter's deputy mayor.

He added that she does not miss a day and goes out to the bench in front of the Home for the elderly to talk and discuss with neighbors what is happening in the village and in the country.

Terter is a village in Kubrat municipality.

According to the mayor's deputy, the main problems here are also related to depopulation, health care, lack of funds for infrastructure.

"Mostly elderly people live here, I know their pain and I help them as much as I can," added Nikolay Ivanov.

To create better living conditions, to have jobs for young people, to have higher pensions are the expectations of the users of the House in Razgrad from the politicians.

"In the section opened in the social institution, out of the 73 people entered in the voter list, 55 have already exercised their right to vote by noon," said the chairman of the commission, Darinka Angelova.

Voting in the section is by paper ballots.

According to the chairman of the sectional committee, people do not find it difficult, the voting is done quickly.

Some of the residents of the social institution said that they were giving their vote in order to live better and have a better future for everyone after them.
