24 people were killed as a result of the shooting by the occupiers of a civilian motorcade near Kupiansk in Kharkiv Oblast.

A pregnant woman and 13 children are among the victims.

Oleg Sinegubov, the head of the Kharkiv OVA, reported this on the Web.

"These are the terrible consequences of the shelling of a convoy of seven cars by the occupiers between the villages of Kurylivka and Pishchane in the Kupyan district. This is the so-called "gray zone". The Russians fired at civilians almost at close range," the head of the region said in a post.

He also referred to police data and reported that the shelling took place in the morning of September 25.

Earlier it was reported about the beginning of September.

The site is currently being inspected and investigations are underway.

It will be recalled that on the morning of October 1, Sinegubov reported that a convoy of cars under fire was discovered in Kharkiv Oblast.

At least 20 deaths were initially reported.

According to the SBU, the occupiers shot a civilian convoy in the "grey zone" between occupied Svatov in Luhansk region and liberated Kupyansk in Kharkiv region.
