Advisor to the Office of the President and military expert Oleksiy Arestovych noted that north of the liberated city of Lyman in the Donetsk region in the direction of Svatovo, the enemy's defenses have recently become "leaky".

He spoke about this in a conversation with Russian human rights activist and blogger Mark Feigin.

"Evil tongues claim that trouble is developing for the Russians in the north towards Svatovo.

The rate of advancement is such that you don't know how to qualify it.

There is no defense.

Leaky defense.

They were dragged under the Lyman," Arestovych remarked.

At the same time, the expert emphasized that there is nothing strange in such a situation, as the Russian occupiers make mistake after mistake.

"This is how catastrophes work, one mistake leads to another," he said.

We will remind you that on October 1, the Ukrainian army took control of Lyman in Donetsk region, liberating the city from the invaders.

Immediately after that, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced that the Russian command was forced to withdraw troops to "more advantageous positions."
