The Serbian radicals congratulated "the Russian people of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions" for, as they said, "the successful referendum and their return to their homeland Russia."

The SRP adds that "on the occasion of the signing of the Decree on the recognition of the sovereignty and independence of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, they congratulate President Vladimir Putin" for, in their words, "successfully protecting the Russian people and for their steadfast struggle for freedom."

In the Kremlin, the ceremony was held on the "entry" of Ukrainian lands into Russia

"We wish the Russian president and the people a quick and successful conclusion of the special operation in Ukraine to the joy of all freedom-loving people around the world," adds the SRP.

The statement also states that "Serbian radicals support Serbia's official policy of not imposing sanctions on fraternal Russia."

The radicals added that they "constantly stand for the strongest possible cooperation between Serbia and Russia", which, they said, "is the position of more than ninety percent of the citizens of Serbia".
