From October 1, the 22nd Republican Exhibition and Sales Fair of beekeeping products will start at 5, Fatali Khan Khoyski Street, Narimanov District (near the Ganclik metro station).

According to the information provided to "APA-Economics" by the Ministry of Agriculture, the preparations for the fair have already been completed and the honey and other beekeeping products of the registered beekeepers have been delivered from the warehouse of "Agrar Tadaruk ve Techizat" OJSC located at Khojahasan road 57 (Meyvali bazaar) to the Exhibition-Sales Fair. the process of transportation to the address where it will be held has been completed.

The registered beekeepers have delivered their products to the warehouse.

The total volume of honey and other beekeeping products delivered to the warehouse is about 120 tons.

The employees of the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency took samples from the products to be sold at the fair with the participation of beekeepers and checked them in laboratory conditions.

Products whose indicators do not meet quality and food safety standards will not be allowed to be sold at the fair.

It should be noted that the registration for the fair was carried out online through the website bal.kendden.az from 00:00 on August 29 to 23:59 on August 31.

At the fair, beekeepers were allocated the appropriate number of places proportionally according to the number of beekeepers in the regions where they operate.

The first 250 registered beekeepers will participate in this year's fair.

In order to participate in the fair, each beekeeper is required to have at least 40 bee colonies, according to the declaration he made while registering in the Electronic Agricultural Information System (EKTIS).

Only beekeepers with a COVID-19 passport will participate in the fair.

Each beekeeper will be able to sell a maximum of 400 kg of honey and a maximum of 30 beeswax to the fair.


Citizens can come to the fair every day from 09:00 to 19:00 on October 1-20 and buy honey and beekeeping products with high quality and food safety indicators.
