Russian military forces fired rockets at a humanitarian convoy in Zaporozhye region, killing and injuring people.

APA reports with reference to UNIAN that the governor of Zaporozhye region, Alexander Starukh, said this in his Telegram account.

According to him, in the morning of September 30, Russia fired rockets at a civilian humanitarian vehicle convoy.

The Ukrainian official said that these people were trying to go to the temporarily occupied territory to pick up their relatives in the Russian-controlled part of Zaporozhye or to help their relatives in the area, and Russian forces fired rockets at those civilian vehicles.

According to preliminary information, 23 people were killed and 28 were injured as a result of firing on the humanitarian convoy.

It is reported that all the dead and injured are civilians.

The Deputy Chief of Staff of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko said in "Telegram" that the Russian military forces launched 16 missile strikes in that direction using the S-300 system, some of which hit the civilian convoy.
