Duda emphasized that Poland will continue to support Ukraine in the war against the Russian invaders and emphasized that the attempt to annex Ukrainian territories is evidence that a compromise with Russia is impossible. 

The President of Poland wrote about this on Twitter. 

Andrzej Duda noted that Poland condemns attempts to annex Ukrainian territories and will never recognize this.

"Poland condemns Russia's attempts to annex Ukrainian territory and will never recognize them. We will continue to support the defenders of Ukraine and its people until the aggressor is expelled. Today's desperate and deplorable action by the Kremlin is a defeat for those who naively believed in a compromise with Russia." - emphasized Duda.

It will be recalled that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin attempted to annex Ukrainian territories on September 30.

Putin, together with the leaders of the occupied Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions, signed the "agreement" on the annexation of Ukrainian territories.

The Russian dictator also threatened Ukraine and called to "sit down at the negotiating table." 

In response, President Zelenskyi said that Ukraine is applying to join NATO.
