The Secretary of the National Security Council Oleksiy Danilov commented on the fresh threats of Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the use of nuclear weapons.

He said this on the air of the "Edyny Novyni" telethon.

"What he threatens, if he will use nuclear weapons, then in general the reaction of the world should be immediate and completely collective. If there is no response, God forbid... If there will be use of nuclear weapons and the world will not react to it, then nuclear weapons - the so-called

dirty bomb - will have so many countries that such chaos will begin in the world

. I can't even tell you what will happen in the world. This is completely unacceptable," Danilov emphasized.

"There are certain obligations regarding the use of nuclear weapons. If the Russian Federation believes that it may not fulfill these obligations,

let's see how the world will react

if, God forbid, this happens," the NSDC secretary added.

It will be recalled that on September 30, Putin accused the West of wanting to destroy Russia and announced the protection of the state by all possible methods, hinting at nuclear weapons.
