West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee plays 'Dhak' (traditional drum-like instrument) at the launch of Community Durga Puja in the capital Kolkata today.

CM Mamta appeared in a festive mood during the inauguration of Suruchi Sangh's pandal in New Alipore.

In the video that went viral on social media, Mamta can be seen cutting the ribbon and then walking with the dhak and playing it.

On Wednesday, Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee played the inauguration of the grand Puja Suruchi Sangh Puja Pandal of South Kolkata by hanging it on her shoulder.

Kolkata Municipal Corporation Mayor Firhad Hakim and Minister Arup Biswas were also present in this ceremony.

The Suruchi Sangha Durga Puja to be held in South Kolkata is popularly known as the worship of Arup Biswas. 

Mamta Banerjee played dhak in full enthusiasm with the stick that played the drum.

Along with the Chief Minister, Minister Arup Biswas also started playing Dhak with him.

Seeing Mamta Banerjee like this, the hearts of the audience who reached there jumped with joy.

People started encouraging Mamta Banerjee by playing tricks.

Talking about South Kolkata, every year a grand pavilion is built here.

Along with this, if it is one of those puja pandals, then it is the worship of ministers.

It is inaugurated every year by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, which includes the worship of Suruchi Sangh.

After Durga Puja of Suruchi Sangh, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee inaugurated several puja pandals of Golmath Durga Puja, Bhawanipur.
