IAEA experts will conduct an investigation into information about two new explosions that occurred near the Zaporizhzhia NPP.

This was reported on Thursday, September 29, on Twitter by the organization.

"Today, the IAEA experts present at the Zaporizhzhia NPP in Ukraine were informed about 2 more mine explosions outside the plant's fence," the report says.

Thus, the total number of explosions this week has already reached five.

"There is no serious damage, but an investigation will be conducted," the IAEA added.

It will be recalled that this week, as part of the 66th annual session of the IAEA, negotiations on the creation of a nuclear safety zone around the Zaporizhia NPP began.
