A meeting of the Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Committee of the Milli Majlis was held today.

APA reports that Niyazi Safarov, adviser to the Minister of Economy, Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA), took part in the meeting.

The agenda of the meeting included the draft laws "On the development of micro, small and medium entrepreneurship", "On the amendment of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Entrepreneurship" and "On the amendment of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On the State Register of Real Estate".

The draft law "On the development of micro, small and medium entrepreneurship" regulates relations in the field of development of micro, small and medium entrepreneurship, defines the forms and methods of promoting state support to micro, small and medium entrepreneurship subjects.

The draft law consists of 5 chapters and 15 articles.

The draft law defines the conditions of providing support to micro, small and medium business entities, the forms of support to micro, small and medium business entities, the procedure and evaluation, the types of support to micro, small and medium business entities and responsibility for the violation of this law.

Orkhan Mammadov stressed that the draft law "On the development of micro, small and medium enterprises" is very important.

Niyazi Safarov noted that significant results have been achieved in the development of small and medium enterprises.

After discussions, all 3 draft laws were recommended to the plenary session of the parliament.
