[Reporter Li Rongping/Taoyuan Report] Affected by the abundant rainfall before the peripheral circulation of Xuan Lannuo and Meihua typhoons, the 49.8-kilometer Daman section of the Beiheng Highway on the 7th line of Taiwan collapsed on September 14, blocking the passage of Taoyuan and Yilan. The Fuxing Works Section of the Maintenance Engineering Office of the First District of the General Administration of Highways completed the landslide removal and placement of temporary facilities at 4 p.m. on the 15th. After observation, there are still rockfalls from time to time on the exposed slopes. It is announced that the Daman Section will be guarded for passage during the day and night. The warning road closure has been extended to October 11.

The controlled road section includes Taiwan 7 line two-way 49 kilometers (Dahan Bridge) to 50 kilometers (Daman section), and traffic is guarded from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. every day. Road closures are not excluded if there is danger.
