On Thursday, September 29, the IAEA announced the delivery of a new batch of equipment to Ukraine as part of efforts aimed at ensuring nuclear and physical security.

This is stated in the statement of the IAEA published on the website of the organization on September 29.

According to the general director of the international agency, Raphael Grossi, this is the third batch of equipment that Ukraine receives from the IAEA.

"Deliveries of equipment provided by Sweden took place yesterday, and items purchased by the IAEA with extrabudgetary support from France and the United States

will arrive in the coming days

. This will help five Ukrainian institutions, including the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspection and Energoatom, to receive equipment for radiation monitoring, mobile phones, portable energy systems and other necessary items," the statement said.
