Currently, Ukraine monitors which groups are created by Russian troops - offensive or defensive.

Brigadier General Oleksiy Gromov, deputy chief of the Main Operational Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, announced this at a briefing on September 29.

"The armed forces of Ukraine

adequately respond to all threats from the enemy.

Currently, various options for our response to the enemy's mobilization activities and the probable creation of groups by him are being worked out. It is being monitored whether these groups will be of an offensive or defensive nature," said a representative of the General Staff.

He added that all this is reported to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.

"Accordingly,

a decision will be made regarding our further actions

, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine are ready for further developments," Gromov assured.

It will be recalled that the General Staff of the Armed Forces also warned that after pseudo-referendums and mobilization in the Russian Federation, there may be an escalation at the front and an increase in the number of attacks by Russia on the critical infrastructure of Ukraine.

At the same time, the Ministry of Defense estimated that Russia plans to escalate the conflict with Ukraine after the announcement of mobilization, corresponding changes to legislation, increased criminal liability and illegal holding of "referendums".
