The mobilization

announced in Russia

, which includes even men without military service experience, is a deliberate killing of its own citizens.

This primarily concerns national minorities.

This was stated by the former commander of the American forces in Europe, retired general Ben Godges, in an interview with the BBC.

Hodges noted that the Kremlin's threats, like the mobilization, are only "a recognition that the situation is rapidly deteriorating."

The military noted that national minorities living in the Russian Federation pay the highest price among all citizens of the aggressor country.

"Most of the dead and wounded are from these ethnic groups - this can also be considered a deliberate attempt, albeit less obvious or less direct, to destroy some of them," Hodges said.

It will be recalled that previously military expert Dmytro Snegiriov expressed the opinion that Russian President Vladimir Putin, by announcing the so-called "partial mobilization", is trying not only to save the situation at the front, but also

to solve the "ethnic issue" in the national republics of the Russian Federation
