On the eve of the cold weather, a number of news appear almost every day that

a new attack is possible from Belarus, where the Russians are now accumulating forces.

Some soldiers assume that after the onset of frost, enemy military equipment will be able to drive through the frozen marshes.

Military expert Petro Chernyk told TSN.ua what a blow could be and what to expect in winter.

"They can strike from there. There is a rich fighting group there. According to various sources, its

number ranges from 13,000 to 30,000 to 40,000.

It is unlikely that a strike is possible in the western part of Ukraine, because there are forests and swamps and only two major roads. And Kyiv region is possible. Nobody knows whether they will leave. Do we need to prepare for it? The preparations are done. We are waiting," says Petro Chernyk about what Ukraine can expect in the near future.

At the same time, the expert added that the opinion about frozen swamps is correct: "

Frost will not be to

our advantage, a relatively warm winter is beneficial to us. If the weather is not frosty, then the war will turn into artillery duels until the ground freezes." .

The probability of a nuclear strike is high

At the same time, Petro Chernyk said that now the probability of a nuclear strike has increased.

We will remind you that the latter is said to be possible on the front line.

"Nuclear danger has increased.

Now is the highest point when nuclear weapons can be used.

In my opinion, this can happen only when Putin understands that there is a prospect of his physical elimination. But I must remind you that the decision to accept the use of nuclear weapons is made by five people. Each has his share of responsibility, his chain and his technological devices."

In his turn, Chernyk commented on the assumption that the West might find out too late about the Russian decision to launch a nuclear attack.

"I do not share this opinion.

The Americans have enough technical and intelligence means to understand that a decision has been made.

The only thing is that I am not optimistic that a preventive strike is possible," Petro Chernyk summarized.
