Chinese

President

Xi Jinping

has again appeared in public in China.

He was not seen for a few days after his first overseas trip two years later this month.

According to a Bloomberg report,

China's news agency reported that Xi, wearing a mask, took part in an exhibition on Tuesday that focused on China's achievements over the past decade.

Along with the Chinese leader, there were 6 other members of the Standing Committee of the Politburo.

It is being seen as a symbol of solidarity.

In the past, there were rumors on Twitter and social media that Xi Jinping's power in China has been challenged.

Xi returned to China from the SCO summit in Uzbekistan on the night of 16 September.

Prior to this, the last time he had gone on a foreign trip in January 2020, he had visited Myanmar shortly before the lockdown in the city of Wuhan.

His absence from foreign trips was considered comfortable amid China's strict Kovid protocol.

According to this, it is mandatory to do a seven-day hotel quarantine after international travel.

After this, you have to stay in isolation at home for three days.

This is the second time that Xi has followed the country's zero covid rules.

In July, the Chinese leader did not appear in public for almost two weeks.

Then he traveled to Hong Kong for two days on the completion of 25 years of Chinese rule over Hong Kong.

Now that the rest of the world has learned to live with the coronavirus, China is stuck in its zero covid policy.

This policy has put weight on China's growth figures and is also being criticized domestically.
