The matter of giving salt and rice in mid-day meal to children studying in primary school in Bainti, a primary school in Bikapur tehsil area of ​​Ayodhya district of UP, has come to light.

Parents have expressed their anger over the incident and have complained to the higher authorities about this.

The administration swung into action as soon as this matter came to the notice.

The District Magistrate of Ayodhya district Nitish Kumar, while conducting an immediate inquiry, has ordered the Basic Education Officer to suspend the head master and serve a notice to the village head that under what circumstances food is not being served there according to the menu.

After getting information about the matter, the DM has suspended the headmaster.

It is noteworthy that in a government school in Ayodhya district of UP, the headmaster of the school has been suspended after a video of students being given rice mixed with salt as food went viral.

The District Magistrate said that this action has been taken on clear evidence and a detailed investigation will be done in the matter.

In a two-minute video created by a parent of a primary school student, children can be seen sitting on the ground eating rice and salt served as a midday meal.
