The United States will provide Ukraine with a new $1.1 billion aid package that will include 18 advanced HIMARS missile systems and ammunition.

This was reported by Voice of America journalist Ostap Yarysh.

The Washington Post, citing its own sources, previously reported the details of this assistance.

The package includes funding for 18 highly mobile HIMARS artillery missile systems and their ammunition, as well as 12 Titan systems used to combat drones.

Also included in the funding package are about 300 vehicles, dozens of trucks and trailers for transporting heavy equipment, various radars, communication and surveillance equipment, and other equipment for soldiers.

In addition, the aid package includes funding for explosives detection equipment, as well as maintenance and training.

Earlier, the media reported that the US Congress had previously approved the allocation of $12 billion to Ukraine.
