representatives of the Ministry of Health were supposed to introduce an electronic registry of living donors of stem cells.

Money for the launch of the project was provided

as credit funds from the

International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

"At the end of 2018, for the implementation of digitalization measures, the deputy minister concludes an agreement with the head of one of the capital's IT companies. According to the signed document, the company received funds to install software in the department for the operation of the corresponding donor register. However,

the contractors did not fulfill their contractual obligations

and did not provide the necessary technologies to the Ministry of Health. At the same time, the

high-ranking official signed the act of acceptance and transfer of software products

, "the message says.

SBI investigators informed the former high-ranking official about the surveillance.

Currently, a pre-trial investigation is underway to establish all the circumstances of the offense and bring the guilty parties to justice.
