Released from Russian captivity, the five 

commanders-defenders of "Azovstal"

will soon be able to see their relatives.

Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko announced this on the air of the national telethon on September 28.

Thus, the Ukrainian commanders of "Azovstal" who were released from Russian captivity (Denys Prokopenko "Redis", Serhiy Volynskyi "Volyna", Svyatoslav Palamar "Kalyna", Denis Shlega and Oleg Khomenko) are 

currently in Turkey

.

With the conditions of exchange in a third country, they will live until the end of the war.

We will remind, on September 21 it became known about the exchange of prisoners in the territory of several countries: Poland, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and on the border between Ukraine and the Russian Federation.

200 Ukrainian heroes 

were exchanged for Putin's godfather Viktor Medvedchuk

, and the commanders of "Azovstal" - for 55 occupiers.

A total of 215 people were released: 118 National Guardsmen, 108 of whom are members of the regiment under the command of Denys Prokopenko.

There are also 50 Navy personnel, 22 other units of the Armed Forces, 9 employees of the State Border Service, 9 National Police, 9 SBU employees, 1 State Special Transport Service, 1 State Customs Service, and 2 civilians.
