New Delhi:
Amidst the political turmoil in the Rajasthan Congress, the high command has issued a show-cause notice to three MLAs (MLAs) of the Gehlot faction, taking action in the matter of boycotting the meeting of the Congress Legislature Party.
The Congress Disciplinary Committee has issued notices to Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shanti Dhariwal, Whip Mahesh Joshi and RTDC Chairman Dharmendra Singh Rathod on Tuesday night.
Important information related to the case:
No action has been taken on Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.
It is believed that he has been given a clean chit.
In such a situation, there is a possibility of Gehlot continuing as the CM.
Also, there is suspense over the nomination of Gehlot's national president.
Ajay Maken and Mallikarjun Kharge's report held the three leaders guilty of indiscipline and asked all three to respond within 10 days.
Dhariwal, despite being the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, has been convicted of serious indiscipline by holding a meeting of the MLAs parallel to the meeting of the Legislature Party at his home, addressing the meeting from the stage and giving miss-guides to the MLAs.
At the same time, notice has been given to Mahesh Joshi for being guilty of breaking discipline for two cases.
It is written in the notice that despite being the chief whip, the legislature party has boycotted that meeting even after giving information to the MLAs.
Then, along with participating in the parallel meeting itself, worked to persuade and confuse the rest of the MLAs.
Notice has been given to Dharmendra Singh Rathod, a close aide of the Chief Minister and RTDC Chairman, for making all the arrangements from planning the meeting at Dhariwal's house.
Around 20 MLAs had reached the CM House to meet Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Tuesday afternoon amid the tussle over the CM's chair in the Rajasthan Congress for two days.
This meeting is being linked to a political crisis.
Some ministers were also among those who met the CM.
At the same time, Sachin Pilot has reached Delhi.
He can meet the party high command.
News agency ANI claimed that Pilot has spoken to Sonia Gandhi and said that if Gehlot contests the election of Congress President, he should quit the post of Rajasthan CM, but Sachin Pilot himself tweeted and called it false news.
Pilot has kept silent on the whole matter, he is not giving any kind of reaction in front of the media.
