Russian Ambassador to the UN Vasyl Nebenzya accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of using the Russian language with propagandistic intentions.

Vasyl Nebenzya spoke about it at a meeting of the UN Security Council.

"The president of Ukraine uses the Russian language for propaganda and wants to drive a wedge between the Russian government and society," said Nebenzya.

The permanent representative of Russia at the UN tried to convince the members of the meeting that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy is trying to disrupt the mobilization announced in the Russian Federation, using the Russian language as a propaganda tool.

The reason for the accusations were Zelensky's video messages, where he addresses the Russians in Russian.

"President Zelenskyi did not hesitate to record several video messages in Russian in recent days to try to disrupt the partial mobilization recently announced in Russia, to drive a wedge between the government and society using Maidan recipes," Nebenzya said.

Nebenzia believes that the citizens of Russia defend their freedom and "the right to go their own way", as well as "protect the weak".

"It's in our genes, and no Western propaganda, no sophisticated political technology will change that," he said.

At the same time, the Russian representative accused the West of wanting to weaken Russia, "dismember it and bend it to its will."

Let us add that the representative of Ukraine at the UN, Serhiy Kyslytsia, commented on Nebenzi's speech.

According to Kislytsia, even Soviet General Secretary Nikita Khrushchev looked more adequate.

"When Nebenzya talks about respecting the Security Council, it's so funny, if not crazy. I'm sure that the video clip with this stream of audio spam will go viral on the Internet," Kyslytsia said.
