Former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, accused in the IRCTC scam case, has been allowed to go to Singapore for his treatment.

Lalu Yadav has been allowed to visit Singapore from October 10 to October 25.

He has been given this permission by the Rouse Avenue Court.

RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav has been battling health-related issues for the past few years.

Lalu Prasad Yadav is facing diabetes, blood pressure, heart disease, prostate enlargement, uric acid increase, kidney related diseases.

Now he has to go to Singapore for treatment.

Hearing on the decision to


cancel Tejashwi Yadav's bail postponed The hearing in the Rouse Avenue Court on the petition seeking cancellation of the bail of Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav by the CBI in the IRCTC scam case has been postponed.

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav has sought time from the court to file a reply on the CBI's application for cancellation of bail.

A separate hearing in this matter will be held on October 18. 

The court said that Tejashwi will have to appear in the court during the next hearing on the plea seeking cancellation of bail.

In this case, the court had granted bail to Tejashwi Yadav in October 2018.

What the CBI said in its petition The 


CBI has alleged in its petition that Tejashwi had threatened the investigating agency during a public meeting.

Further, he can influence the evidence and witnesses, so his bail plea should be rejected.
