Lalu Yadav also demanded ban on RSS

After filing nomination for the post of RJD president, Lalu Yadav said that along with PFI, RSS should also be banned.

What is going wrong with Muslims.

This time the BJP flag will not be hoisted.

In Kerala, the Congress and its alliance partner Indian Union Muslim League or IUML have welcomed the Centre's decision to ban the Popular Front of India or PFI for alleged terror activities, saying the RSS should also be banned.

Strongly condemning the activities of PFI, senior IUML (Muslim League) leader MK Muneer said that the radical organization misinterpreted the Quran and instigated the members of the community to adopt the path of violence.

In Kozhikode, he said the Popular Front of India or PFI not only tried to mislead the younger generation, but also tried to create division and hatred in the society.

Stating that IUML has always opposed the actions of both RSS and PFI-SDPI.

Munir said that the communities concerned should reject the communal ideologies of such organisations.

Senior Congress leader and former state home minister Ramesh Chennithala said the Centre's decision to ban PFI is a "good thing".

He said that the RSS should also be banned in the same way.

Majority communalism and minority communalism both should be equally opposed in Kerala.

Both the organizations have instigated communal hatred and thus tried to create division in the society.
