The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, pointed out four reasons why possible clashes between Serbia and Kosovo may occur, and one of them is the fact that Serbia does not recognize the independence of Kosovo, reports BTA.

Kurti told the Swiss newspaper "Republika" that Kosovo is not afraid of Serbia's actions, but is on alert.

Another reason for a possible conflict is that Serbia blocks the admission of Kosovo in international organizations and finances the parallel structures in the northern part of the country.

"Serbia still does not recognize the independence of Kosovo. It fights against our international recognition and at the same time finances the illegal structures in Kosovo that undermine the rule of law and our sovereignty. Secondly, in Serbia they do not recognize the war crimes committed in 1990," he pointed out Kurti.

The Kosovo Prime Minister reminded that Serbia maintains close relations with Russia, which threatens peace in the region.

"Kosovo is a democracy, Serbia is not, this is the third thing that worries me. Anyone who borders on autocracy is in danger. Fourth, official Belgrade maintains close ties with the despotic Russian President Vladimir Putin. For 10 years, Vucic has met almost 20 times with Putin, the last meeting took place on November 25, 2021 in Sochi, three months before the start of the war," Kurti recalled.
