The National Bank of Ukraine will soon replenish the banks with foreign currencies, which have been in short supply since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of our country by the Russian Federation.

This was reported in the press service of the NBU.

"Today (September 27, - ed.) the National Bank of Ukraine once again conducted operations with systemically important banks to exchange cash currency for non-cash currency to strengthen the banks' coffers.

The NBU offered 100 million US dollars and 100 million euros for the exchange," the NBU press service said.

They also added that such operations are necessary in the event of a shortage of cash foreign currency in the cash registers of individual banks.

In particular, the problem in our country arose due to situational logistical difficulties with the delivery of currency from abroad.

We will remind that Zelensky dismissed the ambassadors of two countries.
