NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg called on the countries of the Alliance to continue replenishing military stocks as soon as possible in order to continue helping Ukraine.
This was stated by the Secretary General at the Conference of National Directors on Armaments, dedicated to the consequences of Russia's war against Ukraine.
"Strengthening NATO stockpiles will enable us to continue to support Ukraine. We must continue to work together as NATO members, as well as with industry, to replenish our ammunition stocks and provide Ukraine with the support it needs for as long as it needs it," he said.
In addition, the meeting discussed ways in which Allies can better understand any stockpile gaps and work together to address such gaps.
The Conference of National Armaments Directors meets to ensure cooperation in providing interoperable military capabilities.
This ensures that NATO forces will always have state-of-the-art capabilities.
Earlier, Jens Stoltenberg said that Russia will not be able to win in a nuclear conflict.
