Russia has significantly reduced the number of Iranian

drones

it uses to attack the southern regions of Ukraine, in particular Odesa.

Defense Express expert Ivan Kyrychevskyi told Channel 24 about this.

According to him, Russia is trying to confuse Ukraine so that we do not know the exact number of drones they have in service.

"The Russians are deliberately trying to confuse us about the number of these drones. They put three-digit numbers (serial number) on these drones to show that there are a lot of them. But in reality it may still turn out that our air defenses will learn to shoot down Iranian drones and they will suddenly end up with the Russians ", he explained.

He also noted that the Armed Forces are effectively "minus" such drones, so

their number has significantly decreased in Russia.

Not only that they can suddenly end.

According to him, there are examples when several Iranian drones "Shahed" were shot down with the help of anti-aircraft missile systems.

There was even a case in the south, when two missiles shot down four drones at once.

A military expert says we have an official figure of 10 downed drones, although there may have been as many as 20 downed.

In his opinion, Iran could produce about 500 drones, and about 100 could be handed over to the Russians.

"But there is an interesting point -

according to some data, these drones are controlled by the Iranians themselves

, the Russians probably could not master them," he said.

It will be recalled that the

Armed Forces of Ukraine again destroyed all three enemy kamikaze drones that attacked the Odesa region.
