Unmanned aerial vehicles

can fly away from the enemy base for a maximum of 2.5 thousand kilometers.

Therefore, the Russians can strike with drones only in the southern region.

Nataliya Humenyuk, spokeswoman of the "South" operational command, said this on the FREEDOM broadcast.

According to her, the Russian army can use drones only where they can reach.

"Tactical and technical characteristics allow the drones to move away from the base by approximately 2,500 km. This means that only the southern regions of Ukraine, through which they can be sent from the temporarily occupied territory, are at risk," Humenyuk said.

According to her, the weapon is quite new.

And that's why Ukrainian experts study its characteristics both when hitting the target and when the drones are shot down.

We will remind you that on the night of September 27, the Russian army

attacked Odesa with three kamikaze drones.

The Armed Forces managed to destroy all three Iranian drones.
