"As of the morning of September 27, 2022, more than 1,171 children were injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. According to the official information of juvenile prosecutors, 395 children died and more than 776 were injured of various degrees of severity. Children were most affected in the Donetsk region - 401, Kharkiv - 231, Kyivska - 116, Mykolaivska - 72, Chernihivska - 68, Luhanska - 64, Khersonska - 55, Zaporizhia - 47, Dnipropetrovsk - 26," the message says.

It is noted that these numbers are not final, as work is ongoing to establish them in places of active hostilities, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

So, on September 26, a 13-year-old girl died as a result of enemy shelling in the city of Pervomayskyi, Kharkiv region.

It became known that at the beginning of April, three children died as a result of shelling by the occupiers of Rubizhne, Luhansk region.

On September 26, a 13-year-old girl was wounded in Krasnohorivka, Donetsk region, as a result of artillery shelling by Russian troops.

The Prosecutor General's Office also added that 2,500 educational institutions were damaged due to bombing and shelling by the armed forces of the Russian Federation, of which 289 were completely destroyed.
