The Ministry of Internal Affairs is conducting an operation against domestic crime and vote-buying in several municipalities in the Sofia region.

Zdravko Yotov, head of the Botevgrad police station, explained this to BNR.

"So far, we have no detained persons. In Botevgrad, we had a tip-off last week. Accordingly, we initiated two pre-trial proceedings.

We searched and seized the addresses, but no materials, papers and objects related to the upcoming elections were found.

The operation is three days.

After the elections, they will continue to domestic crime in the regions, and I dare to say that the effect of these operations is great, because the population itself feels a support, which is from the Ministry of the Interior".
