Latvia is also ready to support the investigation of the gas leak in any way.
The head of the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Edgars Rinkevičs, announced this on the Internet.
The Minister noted that the alleged sabotage of the pipelines should be classified as the most serious safety and environmental incident in the Baltic Sea.
"Latvia stands in solidarity with Denmark and is ready to support the investigation in any way.
It seems that we are entering a new phase of the hybrid war
," said Rinkevičs' post.
It will be recalled that on September 26, Denmark reported a gas leak from the Nord Stream-2 pipeline, which is currently not working, and the Nord Stream-1 pipeline.
The leak was recorded in the Baltic Sea off the coast of Bornholm Island.
A number of countries, including Russia, said that sabotage could be the cause of the accidents.
Sabotage "under a foreign flag" is not excluded.
