When will the heating be turned on in the Kyiv region

In order to complete preparations for the heating season, the authorities of the Kyiv region are waiting for additional funding from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in the region, - said the head of the Kyiv regional military administration, Oleksiy Kuleba.

Due to the full-scale invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine, Buchanskyi, Vyshgorodskyi and Brovarskyi districts suffered the most.

In particular, out of 26,000 damaged objects, 5,000 private houses, five large schools, and 127 educational and 107 medical institutions were completely destroyed.

The infrastructure is quite badly damaged, work is currently underway to restore the housing infrastructure, Oleksiy Kuleba said.

"We expect in the coming days, not even weeks, but days, an additional allocation from the government of 600 million hryvnias from the reserve fund, which will already go directly to the capital expenditures of our region. This will allow us to complete work on preparing for the heating season," he said. an official

The head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration did not specify the exact date of the beginning of the heating season in the Kyiv region.

Where not to turn on the heating this winter

The most difficult heating season will be in the regions temporarily occupied by Russia - in the occupied settlements of Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Kherson regions there may be no heat in winter.

They will not be able to provide heat in some front-line settlements, where the infrastructure was badly damaged by shelling.
