The performer

Tonya Matvienko

, who

became the Honored Artist of Ukraine

this year , is currently in Great Britain with her daughter.

Due to the full-scale war in Ukraine, the singer lost the opportunity to conduct concert activities, and therefore to earn a stable income.

Matviyenko admits that now her family, like most families in Ukraine, is going through difficult financial times.

"There is no income. I am often asked why I am abroad. We have three artists at home. My husband is worried, he says that he does not know what will happen later. I want to return, but Arsen says not to hurry. We have a big house, he does not know, will it be possible to heat it this year, what will happen with it," said the "24 Channel" singer.

That is why, in order to receive at least some money, the performer temporarily moved abroad.

"There is no work, I have to eat, pay utilities, just survive. That's why I went to Britain, I get help here. I don't know how we would survive. If my husband was in some kind of public service or had a business, then it's a different matter. "Arsen and I don't have a business. We put everything into our songs and clips. I don't know what will happen next," Matvienko shared.

We will remind, recently the husband of the singer, Arsen Mirzoyan, talked

about the quarrels in their family

and where he is now.
