[Reporter Li Rongping/Taoyuan Report] The Taoyuan Municipal Yangmei Kindergarten was built in 1981. The building is old and the original indoor space is small, which is not suitable for children's learning and physical and mental development. The old garden building is planned to be demolished and rebuilt into a three-story building with a total floor area of about 1,788 square meters and a total project cost of about 78.9 million yuan. This afternoon (26), Vice Mayor Gao Anbang presided over the groundbreaking ceremony, which is expected to be at the end of September next year. When completed, it can recruit 130 young children and provide children with a large outdoor space for activities.

Gao Anbang said that the architectural shape and façade of the Municipal Yangmei Kindergarten echo the sparkling scenery of the pond on the south side with crystal images (glass bricks), and the stair exterior wall of Shuimei Kiln (bricks) inherits the red brick façade of Hakka Old Street, with terraced fields. The shape of the building symbolizes the rural settlement of Yangmei in the early years. The roof of the pond extends the landscape of the pool on the south side. By integrating the design of local culture and characteristics, the kindergarten is connected with the local community and natural environment. Interior space design Warm white and log colors are used, and large-area windows are opened to increase lighting and make the space brighter.
