[Reporter Xie Junlin/Taipei Report] Kuomintang Taipei mayoral candidate Jiang Wanan's campaign team spokesman and legislator Li Dewei publicly apologized for his remarks that "a dentist is not a doctor".

In response, the Legislative Yuan's Democratic Progressive Party Caucus called Ke Jianming to Li: "Why do you suddenly have Gao Hong's upper body?"

Ke emphasized that dentists and all physicians have the same medical behavior, to solve the pain of patients, and the same is true in politics: "It's just to solve the problem."

Li Dewei recently criticized Chen Shizhong, the Democratic Progressive Party's candidate for mayor of Taipei, saying that a dentist "can't even talk about a doctor."

Yesterday, the Taipei Dentists Association and the National Federation of Dentists Associations protested in unison, criticizing him for showing no respect for dentists, and demanding a public apology from Jiang Wanan.

Li said that his remarks were taken out of context, causing some people to feel uncomfortable. He felt very sorry, "a dentist is a doctor."

Ke Jianming also expressed his views on Li Dewei's remarks earlier. He said: "Don't forget, I am actually a dentist, and I am a dentist who has given the Kuomintang a headache. So far, I have only done two professions: from 1975 to 1992, the dentistry career. ; Served as a legislator since 1993. According to the logic of Li Dewei, I am only a dentist, why should I be the general caller? Why should I choose a legislator?”

Ke Jianming said: "To be precise, I am a one-day dentist, a lifetime dentist, and now I am a 2.0 dentist, specializing in tooth extraction, Kuomintang tooth extraction, and full dentures for free!" He also emphasized that dentists and all doctors have the same medical behavior: Diagnosis, Treatment, Prognosis, to solve the patient's pain, the same goes for politics: "It's just to solve the problem."

He praised Chen for his hard work, overseeing most of the meetings for more than 5 years, serving as an epidemic prevention commander for more than 900 days, leading the team to deal with all crises, tide over difficulties, persevering personality, warmth and enthusiasm, and tempered his stable public affairs handling ability in difficulties.
